But if the relationship ends, what should you do? We\u2019ll tell you everything you have to know.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- heading {\"align\":\"center\"} --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Options for resolving the problem of a joint mortgage after breakup<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>A property is considered to be an indivisible asset so it would be necessary to reach an agreement between both parties to see the best solution. What are the options?<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- heading {\"align\":\"center\",\"level\":3} --><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Sell the property<\/h3>\n<p><!-- \/heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>If both agree and the economic situation allows the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chg.es\/en\/nueva-ley-hipotecaria-todo-lo-que-tienes-que-saber\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"mortgaged property (se abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\">mortgaged property<\/a> to be sold quickly and at a good price, this is the simplest and most advantageous option for the couple&#8217;s members. <strong>Once sold, the mortgage would be cancelled<\/strong>. With this you will not have any expenses but also no benefits. How to get it? You should try to reach an agreement with the bank but we warn you it&#8217;s usually complicated.
