Heirs are those who receive the inheritance of the deceased. And beneficiaries are recipients of a financial donation or gift from a deceased individual.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- heading {\"textAlign\":\"center\"} --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center\">If I inherit or receive a gift in the Valencian Community, in what cases am I obliged to pay it?<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Gift:<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you have resided in the Valencian Community the greatest number of days in the last 5 years and what you received is a movable property (money).<\/li>\n<li>If it is a property (a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chg.es\/en\/que-es-el-ibi-impuesto-sobre-bienes-inmuebles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">flat<\/a>) that is located in the Valencian Community, regardless of your place of residence, as long as it is within Spanish territory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/list --><\/p>\n<p><!-- paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Inheritance:<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If the deceased had his place of residence in this community the 5 years prior to his death.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/list --><\/p>\n<p><!-- image {\"id\":15015,\"sizeSlug\":\"large\",\"linkDestination\":\"none\"} --><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"554\" class=\"wp-image-15015\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/impuesto-de-sucesiones-1024x554.jpg\" alt=\"impuesto de sucesiones\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chg.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/impuesto-de-sucesiones-1024x554.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/chg.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/impuesto-de-sucesiones-300x162.jpg 300w, https:\/\/chg.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/impuesto-de-sucesiones-768x415.jpg 768w, https:\/\/chg.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/impuesto-de-sucesiones.jpg 1110w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><!-- \/image --><\/p>\n<p><!-- paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- heading {\"textAlign\":\"center\"} --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center\">In what period of time should I pay this tax?<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The tax must be submitted within a period of 6 months from the death of the person who bequeaths the inheritance; although we may request an extension of another 6 more, as long as we request it no later than the first 5 months from the death, although we will have to pay late interest.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The extension will be considered granted if we have not received a response within 1 month of the request.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- heading {\"textAlign\":\"center\"} --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Can I reduce the tax payment?<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The answer is yes. If you can reduce the payment of the tax.
