For those of you who love cycling, we have great news! In September 2020, the famous Gran Fondo Alberto Contador will return to Oliva Nova. This year’s 10th edition will be held on September 26 and will feature two exciting new routes to enjoy a unique day accompanied by a true cycling legend like Alberto Contador.
If you like cycling and you usually do circuits, this is an unrepeatable opportunity. Can you imagine going out like every weekend on the road but with a group leader like Contador? Can you imagine having a guide considered a cycling legend with more than 69 titles behind him? Route of the X Gran Fondo Alberto Contador
Although you already know that the circuit will be Oliva Nova and that, if you join us, you will be able to enjoy the best landscapes of the Costa Blanca, we’ll tell you what the routes of this Gran Fondo Alberto Contador will be. Yes, there will be two routes (gran fondo and medio fondo) so that you can choose between one or the other according to your level or preference.
- Gran Fondo route will be 161.8 kilometers long and will have a positive height difference of 3,120 meters.
- Medio Fondo route will be 112.2 kilometers and will have a positive height difference of 1,965 meters.
How to sign up?
Oliva Nova Golf & Beach Resort has everything you need to sign up for this special event. And you have several options for it. If you already have an apartment or a house built by CHG in Oliva Nova and you don’t need accommodation, you can sign up only for the route here (you will have to fill in a form and you will be contacted immediately so that you can register). Until when? You can do it from this moment until the day before the route. But the sooner you sign up, the better price you will get!
Accommodation in Oliva Nova
If you don’t have a place to sleep, you can get a package that includes registration and accommodation. And as for accommodation, you can choose between hotel and apartment. What does each have? In the hotel you will be accommodated in a Classic Double room with the services of buffet breakfast and access to Oliva Nova Wellness Spa and the bicycle parking garage. If you opt for an apartment, you should know that it will have one bedroom in Las Dunas Residence with access to the gym and the heated swimming pool and, of course, access to the bicycle garage.
