Tour the main tourist spots of the town

Once you are in the town of Dénia, there are tourist spots that you cannot miss or visit, such as Calle Mayor and Cavallers to Plaza de la Constitución, the nerve center where you can find typical shops in the area and the best restaurants. In this square you can also see the City Hall building and the church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, two essential things to see in Dénia. Finally, next to the Town Hall are the stairs that lead to Dénia Castle, a fortress of Muslim origin located at the highest point of the city and built between the 11th and 12th centuries. This monument, as one of the main attractions of the town, was used to defend the population during pirate attacks and later underwent various renovations until its partial destruction during the War of Succession.

Visit its best beaches

Without a doubt, the beaches of Dénia are one of its greatest attractions and of course, one of its best kept treasures. A couple of days spent in the area are enough to get to know the most beautiful and popular ones such as Les Marines Beach, a 3 kilometer long sandy area considered one of the best beaches to visit in Denia. Furthermore, if you continue along the coast that extends through the north of the town you will find other beaches ideal for spending a day with the family such as Les Bovetes, Els Molins or Les Deveses. On the other hand, if you prefer rocky coves in a wilder natural environment, you can tour the southern coast stopping at El Trampoli, Punta Negra, Arenetes or La Cala.
